Belushi Celebrates “Generational Giant”, Leke Abejide on Birthday

KOGI STATE – Engr. Toba Adebayo, a prominent telecommunications expert and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, popularly known as “Belushi,” has issued a glowing tribute to Hon. Leke Abejide, Member of the House of Representatives for Yagba Federal Constituency, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement released on Friday, Engr. Adebayo described the lawmaker as a “generational giant” and a man of profound impact who leads with quiet distinction. Adebayo, who referred to the celebrant as a brother and a personal benefactor, lauded Hon. Abejide for providing a sterling example of leadership for others to follow.

“Today, we celebrate a man of impact who doesn’t make noise but delivers results,” Adebayo stated. “I wish to not only celebrate your birth but also to formally appreciate your commitment to the society and the love you have shown me. Your representation in the Green Chamber has been remarkably impactful and resonated far beyond the borders of Yagba Federal Constituency.”
Abejide, he noted, has lived up to the billing as a leader empowered to influence his generation positively by standing out in excellence, godly character, and strength to inspire positive change by helping others overcome significant challenges.
“Many Okun young people are aspiring to be like you and emulate your impeccable commitment to the welfare of your people. As you mark your birthday today, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bless you and uplift you even higher. This is not just to wish you a happy birthday but to also appreciate you for your good works for the society and your love towards me, especially how your representation in the green chamber has been impactful in Yagba and beyond the shores of our constituency.
“You are a blessed person, not by the number of your properties and the status of your bank account. You are blessed simply because everyone around you owes a lot to your humanity and kindness. The philosophyer Socrates once said- “Under the guidance of a strong general, there will never be weak soldiers.” You are a truly a General who gives us strength when we feel weak. You are a man who knows the language of the people and how to express it extensively. You have always dedicated yourself to selfless service to see a progressive society with the fear of God .
“Thank you for your inspirational and courageous life evidenced by how you have focused on yielding positive results for the sake of our society. You have continued to prove that when there is a will, there is a way.
“Against the backdrop of the creed that service to humanity is the best work of life, I daresay that your effervescence and dexterity to development remain unparalleled, as a servant leader whose pedigree and profile capture a meritorious life and cognate experience as a businessman and politician.
“I have never one day regretted my unshaken support for you because you are a grateful man who knows God. Thank you for everything you do to help and support your people. I consider myself very lucky to have a friend like you. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency, my benefactor, a friend, and a brother.”
Engr. Adebayo concluded the message with prayers for the lawmaker’s continued success, asking the Almighty God to further bless and uplift him as he continued his service to the nation.
