By Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu Democracy Newsline Newspaper 21st September 2025

It is with great joy and deep respect that I join all Nigerians and well-wishers around the world in extending heartfelt felicitations to Your Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the momentous occasion of your 65th birthday anniversary.

Your Excellency, you are a beacon of patriotism, resilience, and compassion—qualities that have distinguished your life of service and left an indelible mark on our nation’s democratic journey. Your steadfast commitment to the betterment of Nigeria is evident in every facet of your service, from your days as First Lady of Lagos State, through your distinguished tenure in the Senate, to your current role as Mother of the Nation.

Your pioneering efforts through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) since 2023 reflect a visionary dedication to uplifting the lives of women, children, and vulnerable groups across the country. Indeed, your leadership continues to inspire hope, strengthen communities, and drive meaningful change.

Equally worthy of commendation is your impactful legacy as the Founder of the New Era Foundation, where your passion for youth development, education, and social welfare laid a solid foundation for inclusive growth in Lagos State and beyond.

Your legislative accomplishments from 2011 to 2023, during your meritorious service as the Senator representing Lagos Central, stand as a testament to your unwavering pursuit of progress, justice, and national development.

On this special day, I pray that Almighty God grants you many more years in excellent health, divine wisdom, and boundless strength as you continue to support the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda for the peace, unity, and prosperity of our dear nation.

Happy 65th Birthday, Your Excellency, the Mother of the Nation!
May your legacy continue to shine ever brighter.

Signed:-
Senator Barau I. Jibrin
Deputy President of the Senate
Federal Republic of Nigeria
