Boat Mishap: Dr. Folabora Bryhm Expresses Sympathy with Ibaji Local Government, Offers Condolences to Victims’ Families

Dr. Folabora Bryhm has shared his deep sadness and sent heartfelt condolences after the tragic boat mishap that took place in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State. The accident claimed the lives of 26 passengers.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Dr. Bryhm called the incident a devastating loss. This tragedy affects not only the victims’ families but also the whole community in Kogi State.

“I am deeply saddened by this unfortunate tragedy in Ibaji. My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families and the entire Ibaji community. I pray for the peaceful resting of the souls of the departed and ask God to give their families the strength to cope with this loss,” he said.

Dr. Bryhm also requested immediate government action to improve safety measures in the state’s river areas. He urged the Kogi State Government and relevant agencies to make sure that life jackets are available and enforced for all water transportation.
