Braimoh Briefs Olujumu of Ijumu, Oba Williams Ayeni on Wealth Creation Agenda
The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman, Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council in Kogi State, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni has received the Action Alliance candidate in the November 11 governorship election in the State, Mr Olayinka Braimoh, who was at his Palace to formally inform him of his governorship aspiration and his plan to develop the state.
Braimoh who articulated his wealth creation plan while addressing the king noted that it was not yet time for campaign but as a mark of respect for the royal father, he deemed it important to officially inform his traditional institution of his aspiration to become the next governor of the State.
The businessman turned politician said as soon as campaign is officially flagged off according to the time table set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), he will come back with his full team to seek the support of the King and his council as well as that of the entire people of Ijumu Kingdom.
Braimoh told the traditional ruler that his aspiration is anchored in the plan to place Kogi State among the wealthy and successful States in Nigeria and that this can only be made possible through conscious and deliberate efforts aimed at making the state to produce goods and services in exchange for money which will be evenly distributed and retained in the State.
After listening to the AA candidate, the Olujumu commended his brilliance and prayed for him. The Oba also admonished Braimoh and his entourage to go about their consultation peacefully and without engaging in any act that can create tension in the state.
