BREAKING: President Tinubu Appoints General Olufemi Oluyede as CDS, Announces other new service Chiefs
In a major shake-up, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of new Service Chiefs, effective immediately.

According to a statement released by the Statehouse, General Olufemi Oluyede has been appointed as the new Chief of Defence Staff, replacing General Christopher Musa.
Other key appointments include:
– Major-General W. Shaibu as the new Chief of Army Staff
– Air Vice Marshal S.K Aneke as the Chief of Air Staff
– Rear Admiral I. Abbas as the new Chief of Naval Staff
Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major-General E.A.P Undiendeye, retains his position.
The President expressed his profound appreciation to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other Service Chiefs for their patriotic service and dedicated leadership.
The newly appointed Service Chiefs have been charged to justify the confidence reposed in them and further enhance the professionalism, vigilance, and comradeship that define the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
