CELEBRATING A COMPASSIONATE AND COMPANIONABLE DR. SALISU OGBO USMAN ON HIS 51 BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY
Today afford me yet another privilege of celebrating our visionary and selflessly driven personality; very caring and considerate, understanding and upright, nice and noble, sensitive and sensible, emphatic and sympathetic, lively and loving, respectful and resourceful, just as he is compassionate and companionable whom over the years has shown his wisecracks, profound thoughts, spiritually ennobling insights, sublime statements and words of wisdom, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman.
I made bold to say, Dr. Usman, Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja is one leader you will always want to associate with, given his selfless service to humanity with humility.
You will always feel the ambience associated with his presence as he waxes eloquently in words.
Indeed; meeting him, you will first be struck by the force of his fierceness yet an emotional soul with mental magnitude and alertness.
In my pen pushing career, Dr. Usman will forever be remembered for providing a huge endorsement that gave me a major boost into the literal world.
He is a picture of imperturbability who has tremendous gifts of shining a radiant light onto unrecognized paths and projects.
Obviously, the incandescent spirit of his intellectual creativity has added depth and fresh breath to Kogi State Polytechnic which is raising Godly intellectuals and preparing her students to competing globally.
Dr. Usman has risen from a humble background, under quite limited circumstances to become highly renowned and privileged. He is such an endowed personage with an imbued power of intuition. No doubt, he is a rare embodiment of courage, charisma and credibility.
I share a beautiful sentiment that life is not just about our own personal gain and growth, but also about doing good in the world and living according to fulfilling the highest value of humanity – “Human Capital Investment” of which Dr. Usman has exemplified.
As he marks his 51st birthday anniversary today being 26th October, 2023, one can only pray that God Almighty gives him greater grace for greater glories in the years ahead whilst it’s hopeful that, God provide for us the enabling environment to reciprocate the kind gestures enjoyed through him, overtime.
