COCIN Women Fellowship, LCC Nukpis: Challenged to be Positive Role Models.
The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Celebrates Women Fellowship’s Week.
This Unique and annual event is cardial and significant not only to the Women Fellowship but the entire Believers.
The Women Fellowship of LCC Nukpis, Regional Church Council, Jos Jarawa in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state joined their counterparts worldwide in observing the week.
The week started from Monday, 8th of October, 2024 with a debate between men and Women while on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it was teaching.
The guest Speaker Mrs Daser from COCIN LCC Shere Gwafan talk on the theme: “Be a Role Model For Holy Living” every believer in Christ is a role model.
She defines a role model as a person who others looks up to or something that represents inspiration.
The Guest Speaker, said Timothy and Paul are the good examples, Paul trained Timothy after his grandmother and his mother started the training.
Paul then took over the training and urged Timothy not to allowed anyone looks down on in him but should be an example.
The Teaching went further to discuss the various types of role model with a good example of a positive role model as someone who inspires you to grow in spirit.

Mrs Daser further pointed out that,the secret of holy living is to be at peace with everyone.
Also discuss on leadership and said leadership is not just a title or position,but how to guide others,as a leader,you need to live a practical life.
Holy Living is the foundation of Christian leadership.
She also read from the books of Luke 6:39, Mathew 4:4,1 Timothy 4:12.
Another topic discuss, was the role of righteousness in leadership.
By living the life of holiness and righteousness,you will set a foundation for others.
Other activities Of the week includes the launching and free will donations as well as opening of dishes by the dignitaries.
The funds will be Chanel for the construction of three bedrooms flat that will include a store and also the renovation of the kitchen at the Pastorium.
