COMMUNIQUE ON THE RESOLUTION OF THE FORUM OF PDP ZONAL YOUTH LEADERS MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 23RD, 2025.

COMMUNIQUE ON THE RESOLUTION OF THE FORUM OF PDP ZONAL YOUTH LEADERS MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 23RD, 2025.

We, the zonal youth leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on this day came together to look at the state of the nation and the state of the PDP and readiness of the party for the forthcoming 2027 polls.

We resolved as follows:

1. We commend The Amb. Ilya Damagum-led National Working Committee (NWC) for the great works he and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, our capacity National Secretary of the party and every other member of the NWC are doing for the party’s progress and unity everyday.

2. We appreciate the Governors under the leadership of H. E Bala Muhammed who stood by the party in this trying period and also all the National Assembly Members.

3. We appreciate the reconciliation committee under the leadership of H. E Bukola Saraki and H. E Hassan Dakwambo for there effort in reconciling the party.

4. We call for reconciliation of all warring factions in PDP.

5. We appeal that all the youth leaders across the country should all carried along in the Northern and Southern agenda of party.

6. We appeal that, in the Northern and Southern agenda of the party, everybody should be carried along and that nobody should be marginalized.

7. We call on all the PDP Governors and party leaders to work together to ensure PDP stays united.

8. We speak to reconciliation, unity, harmonization of the party. We call for total reconciliation of all warring factions within the party and we call for total unity and harmonization across every section of the party across all the wards and zones in the country.

9. We appeal that the NWC should ensure that all zones should have conclusive congresses to enable us have and hitch free convention.

10. We call on all members of the party to work together towards the success of the forthcoming national convention of the party, from planning stage down to the very last aspect of it, to ensure that every stakeholder is carried along including date and venue for the convention, to show that the PDP is really ready for 2027 by way of a show of unity, strength and capacity which the PDP is well known for as Nigerians look towards the PDP as the only alternative party as we head towards 2027 polls.

11. We call on all state youth to remain calm and focus on voters register mobilization in their different state as a date will be communicated immediately after NEC meeting to have a robust discussion with our National Youth Leader to enable us champion a new path way for the party.

12. We call on the Nigerian Youth to have faith in our party as remain the major opposition political party that can rescue our dear nation from the current balablu economic situation that is putting our country in abject poverty.
