High Comrade Joseph Demighan Lamienghan , the Secretary General of the Delta State Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM) and founder of the Oil Voice of Niger Delta, has issued a statement commending the organizers of the ongoing nationwide protests.

The HOSTCOM Scribe praised the protesters for their maturity and ability to learn from past mistakes, urging all leaders to seriously consider the demands of Nigerians who are downtrodden by the political elites.

High Comrade Joseph Demighan
Lamienghan in his remark highlighted the importance of addressing issues such as hunger and poor governance, emphasizing that expressing these concerns demonstrates courage. He encouraged Nigerians to engage in constructive criticism of government officials, promoting a culture of honesty and transparency.

“Nigerians should stop praising people in government , instead, we should tell the leaders the truth in a very friendly way .” Lamienghan stated : ” l am calling for an end to divisive tactics and urged citizens to focus on collective efforts to improve the nation.”

Additionally, Comrade Lamienghan advised the Nigerian police to uphold their role as peacekeepers. He called on the police to refrain from using tear gas on protesters, emphasizing the importance of protecting the Youths and maintaining peace. He also suggested that the police should employ skilled engineers to enhance the protection of lives and property.

“The Nigerian police should remain as professional peacemakers and stop using tear gas on our youths,” he urged.

High Comrade Lamienghan’s statements reflect a growing opinion amongst Nigerians who are earnestly yearning for a more responsible and responsive governance. His call for unity and constructive dialogue underscores the need for leaders to listen to and address the genuine concerns of the people.
