Congratulatory Message On the Appointment of Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) as Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

On behalf of my family and political associates, I, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku, extends my heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his historic appointment as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This appointment marks a proud and momentous milestone for Kogi State and the North-Central region, as Prof. Amupitan becomes the first indigene of our state to be nominated to this revered national office.

Prof.Amupitan’s sterling credentials as a distinguished academic, accomplished legal luminary, and administrator of unquestionable integrity has earned him nationwide respect. His appointment is not only well deserved but also a reflection of the President’s commitment to competence, credibility, and national inclusiveness.

I express my profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding a worthy son of Kogi State fit for this crucial responsibility. This is a source of great honour to our people and a call to continued service and excellence.

I have no doubt that Prof. Amupitan will bring his wealth of knowledge, experience, and integrity to bear in strengthening Nigeria’s democratic institutions and electoral processes.

I pray that Almighty God grants him wisdom, good health, and guidance as he assumes this critical national duty.

Once again, congratulations to Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN).
