Court Adjourns ALGON, Kogi Staff Salary Arrears Case to December 11

Lokoja, Kogi State – October 16, 2025:

The National Industrial Court sitting in Lokoja, presided over by Hon. Justice S.O. Adeniyi, on Thursday, heard the case involving five staff members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kogi State Chapter, against ALGON and Hon. Taofiq Isah.

The claimants are seeking payment of alleged unpaid salary arrears owed to them by the association.

At the last sitting, counsel to the claimants, Omoniyi Sunday, Esq., informed the court that both parties had been unable to reach an out-of-court settlement

Following this development, Justice Adeniyi adjourned the matter to December 11, 2025, for further hearing.
