CP NAZIRU BELLO APPRECIATES COMMENDATION FROM SSA ON ROAD SAFETY, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINED SECURITY IN KOGI STATE
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Naziru Bello, PSC, mni, expresses profound appreciation to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Road Safety Matters, Hon. Suberu Yusuf John, PhD, for his letter of commendation acknowledging the Command’s efforts in maintaining peace and security across the State.

The letter, dated 23rd February, 2026, commends the CP’s exemplary leadership, professionalism, and the resilience of officers and men of the Command in addressing prevailing security challenges. The SSA particularly recognizes the Command’s collaboration with sister security agencies, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders in sustaining public safety and rebuilding confidence in policing.
In response, CP Naziru Bello notes that the recognition serves as a morale booster to the officers and men of the Command who continue to work tirelessly, often under challenging conditions, to safeguard lives and property. He reiterates that the achievements recorded so far are the result of collective efforts, strategic policing, intelligence-led operations, and strong community partnership.
The Commissioner of Police further assures residents of Kogi State that the Command remains resolute in its commitment to proactive crime prevention, prompt response to security concerns, and the continuous strengthening of inter-agency collaboration to ensure lasting peace across the State.
He calls on members of the public to sustain their support, cooperation, and timely sharing of credible information with security agencies, emphasizing that security remains a shared responsibility.
