CUSTECH VC Fetes Gov. Ododo On Supreme Court Victory

As Kogites turns out en masse to celebrate the Supreme Court victory of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State at the Supreme Court, the Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu has joyfully congratulated Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his well deserved victory.

This was contained in a statement signed by Balogun Omeiza David, Head, Public Relations Unit, CUSTECH, Osara.

Speaking from his office at CUSTECH, he said, “I, on behalf of Management, staff and students of CUSTECH most warmly felicitate with His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State on the Supreme Court ruling which today has affirmed, solidified and make real his victory in the November 11th, 2023 Kogi State gubernatorial election.

Speaking from his office at CUSTECH, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu said, “This Supreme Court decision has finally laid to rest the tussle over who the cap fits regarding the governorship seat of Kogi State. The present euphoria that has enveloped Kogites at the moment is enough a testament to prove to all and sundry that so far; so good the citizens are relishing the governorship style dished out to them before this final pronouncement by the Supreme Court.”

Furthermore, the Vice-Chancellor added that, “I commend the government and the entire people of Kogi State for allowing the Rule of Law to run its entire course during the entire season of the legal tussle. I urge the Chief Umpire of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, a man the decision of the Supreme Court has given a positive nod to ride on powerfully to run the affairs of Kogi State for the betterment of all. Truth be told, your emergence is a pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and we are more than glad that a cherished specie like you is ruling our dear state in our days. As characteristics of the governor, I strongly believe that he will be magnanimous in victory by making concrete moves towards embracing an all inclusive governance as may be necessary.

Putting the icing on the cake from the angle of gratitude, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu said, “The loyalty of CUSTECH as an institution will remain unalloyed and will remain eternally grateful to the administration of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for the continuous patting on the back the institution is receiving judging from the developmental strides coming from government that is noticeable.”

Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu prayerfully committed His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo into God’s hands saying, “It is my earnest prayers that God Almighty will continue to consider you as part of those He has destined to always have an edge of victory in anything good you desire in this world. Amen.” He said.
