CUSTECH VC Gets Letter Of Commendation From Kogi State House Of Assembly

The House Committee on Education, Kogi State House of Assembly has presented a letter of commendation to the Vice-Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu.

The letter was presented to the Vice-Chancellor in his office by Alh. Mohammed Bello, the Deputy Clerk on Legislative Matters, Kogi State House of Assembly who described Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu as a golden fish that cannot be hidden.

According to Balogun Omeiza David, Head, Public Relations and Protocol Unit, CUSTECH, Osara said
in attendance to warmly felicitate with the Vice-Chancellor were; the Bursar, Mr. John Alaji, the Director, Physical Planning and Development, Bldr. Ismail Adoke, Head, Internal Audit, Alh. Muhammed Hussein, Head, Procurement Unit, Dr. S.A. Obajimoh and the Principal Assistant Registrar (VC’s Office), Mall. Isah Abdulazeez.

The House of Assembly at its plenary on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, had extensively deliberated on the significant achievements marked by the tenure of Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu which has enhanced the reputation of the university and also to the rapid development of staff and students. The letter was signed by Alh. Chogudo S. Ahmed, Clerk of the House/Head of Legislative Service.

Responding to the letter of commendation from the Committee on Education, Kogi State House of Assembly, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu thanked the body of legislators for seeing a reason to present to him the letter of commendation. He extended his gratitude and dedicated the commendation to the Council, Management, Staff and students saying their concerted efforts has led to this letter of commendation give to him the legislative arm of government. He said this commendation has further fuelled his passion to do more for CUSTECH as an institution founded to rub shoulders with other great institutions around the globe.

While giving his vote of thanks, the Bursar, Mr. John Alaji thanked all the Members of Kogi State House of Assembly for placing on the head of the person the crown fits. He described the Vice-Chancellor as a man who works round the clock to see that the greatness expected from CUSTECH sees the light of the day. He appealed to Alh. Mohammed Bello who brought the commendation letter to convey the gratitude of the entire CUSTECH community to the law makers.
