DEMOCRACY DAY FELICITATIONS FROM KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC TO HIS EXCELLENCY, ALHAJI AHMED USMAN ODODO AND THE GOOD PEOPLE OF KOGI STATE
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman on behalf of the Management, Academic Board, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, extends warm and profound felicitations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the good people of Kogi State on the momentous occasion of the 2025 Democracy Day celebration.
Professor Usman celebrates His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State for the focused leadership and commitment to continuity, progress, and the deepening of democratic ideals in Kogi State. “His early strides in consolidating on the gains of the past while charting a bold path for the future have been inspiring and impactful” he said.
The Rector stressed that the Polytechnic will remain committed to the actualisation of His Excellency’s educational vision through dedication to academic excellence and impacting knowledge on civic responsibility and nation-building. “We are confident that under your visionary leadership, the Polytechnic and indeed the entire education sector will continue to thrive” he continued.

Professor Usman urges all citizens to remain united, peaceful, and active participants in the democratic process and continue to harness our diversity and collective strength to build a more prosperous Kogi State and Nigeria as we commemorate the 2025 Democracy Day.
The Rector congratulates His Excellency, all Kogites, and Nigerians on this special occasion, even as he prayed for enduring peace, progress and democratic consolidation.
