It was celebration and thanksgiving as the management and staff of Democracy Newsline Newspaper joined family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate Elder Michael Olusoji, father of renowned philanthropist Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji, on his birthday.
The newspaper described Elder Olusoji as a man of great virtue, whose life of discipline, humility and service has produced a worthy son that is impacting lives across the country.

In a tribute signed by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Olugbemi Femi, the management said Elder Olusoji’s legacy of compassion and community service continues to live on through Prince Olatunji’s wide-ranging philanthropic works.
“Baba is the foundation. Everything Prince Olatunji is doing today — the scholarships, the medical outreaches, the empowerment — all of it started from the values Baba taught us at home: love your neighbor, give even when you have little” Prince Olatunji said while speaking on his father’s influence.
He described his father as “a silent giver, a prayer warrior, and the pride of our family,” adding that Elder Olusoji remains actively involved in mentoring youths and supporting the less privileged in his community.
The newspaper prayed for more years in good health for the celebrant.
“Elder Michael Olusoji is not just a father to Prince Olatunji, he is a father to many. We celebrate a life well lived, and we pray that God grants you more strength to keep sowing seeds of greatness,” the statement read.
