Democracy Newsline Newspaper honours Barrister Ladi Jatto with Special Recognition Award as the Focal Person of the Year
The management of Democracy Newsline Newspaper has honoured the Kogi State Focal Person in ACreSaL World Bank Project, Barrister Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON with a special recognition award as the Focal Person of the Year.
The award presentation which was held on 18th October, 2023 at National Merit House Maitama, Abuja was in celebration of the thirteen (13) year Anniversary of the media outfit and also in commemoration of the sixty three (63) years Anniversary of Nigeria’s Political Independence.

Olugbemi Femi, publisher/CEO Democracy Newsline, in his speech noted that the occasion is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the talents, achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations who have remarkably excelled in their respective fields of endeavors.
Speaking further, he said each of the awardees has demonstrated exceptional abilities, determination and unwavering commitment towards excellence.That they have not only set new standards of excellence but have also become beacons of inspiration for others to follow.
Barrister Ladi Jatto who was represented by Saiki Rabi Suleiman received the award on her behalf, stressing that her schedule made it impossible for her to meet up with the time, hence she asked her to stand in for her.
She described Barr. Ladi as an exceptional personality who believes in excellence hence she is happy about the award and will continue to put in her best on any assignment given to her, urging the media organization to keep doing the job in line with the ethics of the profession, for it is the only way to excel as an organization.
Meanwhile, the management of Democracy Newsline Newspaper honoured her in line with the reports received from the panel of experts who nominated her for the special recognition award among her peers in the 36 states of the federation.
She dedicated the award to the Kogi State Governor and the organization she represents.
Other recipients of the Leadership Award of Excellence were H.E.Dr.Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman APC, H.E.Gen. Buba Marwa (Rtd) Chairman/CEO NDLEA, Mrs Folashade Shade, MD/CEO Nigeria Agriculture Insurance Corporation, Vice Admiral Joseph Ajayi (Rtd), Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman (Rtd) kogi State Accord Party Governorship candidate and Hajia Hadiza Mamman Vasta.
