Deputy Executive Secretary, UBEC Hon. Tunde Ajibulu Enters Omo-Atata Hall of Fame

The Deputy Executive Secretary (Services) of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Hon. Tunde Ajibulu, will on the 20th of June, be inducted into the Omo-Atata Hall of Fame at the EACDA Awards Night.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, Mr. Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi posited that, Omo-Atata is a category of Award conferred on notably famous and illustrious indigenes of the community who have excelled in their respective career and brought pride to Ekinrin-Adde.

Hon. Tunde Segun Ajibulu, mni, was born in Lagos to the Family of Late Wg Cdr Johnson Adeleye Ajibulu and Mrs. Alice Olabukun Ajibulu JP.

He attended the Nigerian Defence Academy (43RC)1991 to 1995 and the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, SEC 42 2020 and University of Ilorin where he studied History he is widely recognized for his integrity, discipline, and visionary leadership.

He is a seasoned strategist and a leader with over 20 years experience spanning public policy, corporate management, political strategy, and organizational development.

Through his Omoba Tunde Ajibulu Educational Foundation, he has impacted the lives of hundreds of students in Ekinrin Adde and across Ijumu land, through building infrastructure and scholarship, while also empowering widows.

He has held key executive roles in investment banking, construction, and consultancy. He served as Director at Tangent Construction, Partner at Covenant Consultancy, and formerly Head of Business Development at Integrated Capital Services. His research on Electronic Voting Process and Electoral Integrity in Nigeria at NIPSS Kuru garnered national attention, solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking policy expert.

Tunde is a Fellow and Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Management Consultants, and a member of several intellectual bodies including the Historical Society of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and the National Institute. He has been part of federal delegations, participated in international policy missions, and attended different conferences across the globe like the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland, United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 amongst Many others.

A committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tunde has played strategic roles in major national and State campaigns and conventions, including serving as Chairman of the 2022 APC Akwa Ibom Gubernatorial Primaries, Secretary of the 2018 APC Anambra Federal Legislative Primaries and as a member of the 2019 and 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Councils amongst others.

Blending military discipline with corporate insight and political acumen, Tunde is a patriot, mentor, and change agent, dedicated to national development and institutional transformation. Ajibulu is a Board Member of the Nigerian Chess Federation and a Trustee of the Maj Gen Tunde Idiagbon Squash Foundation.
