Following the exercise, the Deputy Senate President humbly reaffirmed his decision to once again present himself before the people of Kano North for the renewal and revalidation of the overwhelming mandate they have consistently entrusted in him over the years.

Senator Barau stated that his passion for public service remains deeply rooted in the desire to improve the lives of ordinary citizens through people-oriented policies, impactful projects, and sustainable socioeconomic development across the senatorial district and beyond.

According to him, politics should always serve as a platform for uplifting communities, empowering youths and women, improving infrastructure, enhancing education, and creating opportunities that will guarantee a better future for the next generation.

Over the years, the Deputy Senate President has remained steadfast and committed to attracting meaningful development to Kano North through effective representation, legislative interventions, empowerment initiatives, educational support programs, and infrastructural projects that continue to positively impact countless communities.

He sincerely expressed profound appreciation to the people of Kano North for their unflinching support, loyalty, prayers, and confidence in his leadership, noting that their continued trust has inspired him to work even harder in advancing the collective interests of the district.
Senator Barau emphasized that the achievements recorded so far are only the beginning of greater opportunities and accelerated development that await the people in the coming years.

Looking ahead to January 16, 2027, he expressed confidence that the people of Kano North will once again demonstrate their belief in purposeful leadership by reaffirming their collective vision for rapid socioeconomic transformation through the ballot box.

He assured constituents that he would continue to champion policies and programs aimed at improving living standards, expanding economic opportunities, and ensuring that Kano North remains on the path of growth, prosperity, and inclusive development.
“Service to the people remains my highest priority. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous, and more united Kano North,” the Deputy Senate President stated.
