Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin Clears APC Screening, Reaffirms Commitment to Kano North’s Development

Deputy Senate President Senator Barau I. Jibrin has successfully participated in the screening exercise conducted by the All Progressives Congress for senatorial aspirants in Abuja, barely 48 hours after submitting his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The successful screening marks another important milestone in Senator Barau’s political journey and his unwavering determination to continue serving the good people of Kano North Senatorial District with dedication, vision, and purposeful leadership.
Following the exercise, the Deputy Senate President humbly reaffirmed his decision to once again present himself before the people of Kano North for the renewal and revalidation of the overwhelming mandate they have consistently entrusted in him over the years.
Senator Barau stated that his passion for public service remains deeply rooted in the desire to improve the lives of ordinary citizens through people-oriented policies, impactful projects, and sustainable socioeconomic development across the senatorial district and beyond.
According to him, politics should always serve as a platform for uplifting communities, empowering youths and women, improving infrastructure, enhancing education, and creating opportunities that will guarantee a better future for the next generation.
