Director General, National Identity Management Commission, Engr. Odusote Bisoye Coker Bags Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s Excellent Leadership Award
The Director General of the National Identity Management Commission, Engr. Odusote Bisoye Coker, has been recognized with an Excellent Leadership Award by Democracy Newsline Newspaper. This prestigious award is based on public opinion polls conducted by a team of experts who acknowledged Engr. Coker’s significant contributions to the reforms in the commission, which have enhanced the integrity of the national database of Nigerian citizens.
According to Chief Olugbemi Femi, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Engr. Bisoye Coker has demonstrated exceptional leadership, making the commission an outstanding institution since her appointment.

He noted that the award of recognition will be bestowed on Engr. Bisoye Coker during the upcoming 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the National Merit House in Abuja.
The event will commence with a red carpet ceremony at 5 pm, followed by the main program at 6 pm, and a dinner program.
The 15th edition of the public lecture and awards ceremony, themed “Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance,” is being organized by Democracy Newsline Newspaper to celebrate its existence as an organization.
The event will also feature the launch of a N100 million fund for the procurement of podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s online Television station.
