Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim Honored with Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s Community Development Award

The Jaruma Mata of Africa and Chief Executive Officer of HABZ Hotel and Suites in Abuja, Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim, has been recognized with the Community Development Award by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
The well deserved recognition is based on public opinion polls conducted by a team of experts who acknowledged Hajia Ramatu’s outstanding contributions to her origin and host communities through her numerous organizations like Habz Hotel and Suites, Real estate, Oil and Gas, which has driven development in the area.

According to Chief Olugbemi Femi, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Hajia Ramatu Ibrahim has distinguished herself by contributing significantly to the overall development of not only her community but also society at large.
Her dedication and commitment to community development have earned her this well-deserved recognition.
He noted that the award of recognition will be bestowed on Hajia Ramatu Ibrahim during the upcoming 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the National Merit House in Abuja.
The event will commence with a red carpet ceremony at 5 pm, followed by the main program at 6 pm, and a dinner program.
The 15th edition of the public lecture and awards ceremony, themed “Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance,” is being organized by Democracy Newsline Newspaper to celebrate its existence as an organization.
The event will also feature the launch of a N100 million fund for the procurement of podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s online Television station.
