Leaders of the” Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group” has urge Nigerians to desist from being used as a tool for political fights by some enemies of Nigeria progress and should disregard circulating rumors on “Why Tinubu refused to stop EFCC from prosecuting Yahaya bello”..
In an interactive session with political pundits, Chief Asaje assert that it was not Tinubu’s decisions to force the EFCC’s to proceed with Bello’s prosecution, urging the public to disregard the report, saying it false and misleading..
According to him, President Tinubu feel obliged to dissociate himself from a phantom report circulating in sections of the media claiming that the EFCC’s action against Bello can be seen as part of Tinubu’s broader effort to demonstrate that elected officials and public office holders must be held accountable for their actions..

Chief Asaje is opine that Tinubu’s unbiased approach to tackling corruption should not be used by hypocrites, sycophants to cause any issue between a father and a strong political son.. They should rather criticised the efcc’s actions as biased,driven by personal and political motives rather than a genuine fight against corruption..
Continuing he said, the efcc agency’s should be blamed. It has fallen far short of its potential, left with a battered reputation/ uncertain record of accomplishments..
The EFCC led by Ola Olukoyede accused Bello of #110 billion, after initially filling 19 charges against him,his Nephew Ali Bello,Dauda Suleman, and Abdulsalam Hudu for alleged money laundering offences totaling #80,246,470,088.88..
In updated charges date September 25, the sum allegedly laundered increase to #110,446,470,89.00 ..
Bello and his co-defendants were accused of purchasing 12 properties in Abuja with the laundered funds.. The defendants were also charged with criminal breach of trust over the same amount..
Chief Asaje insists that under Ola Olukoyede, the efcc’s anti-corruption work has grown timid and lethargic in comparison with Ribadu’s tenure..

To Chief Asaje, the EFCC have been ineffectual relative to their size and statutory power and have displayed little appetite for tackling high level corruption..
Tinubu is for everyone, we stand by our son and warn his hidden political persecutors to leave Yahaya Bello alone.. The EFCC should be fair and just in their fight against corruption and abide by the rule of law..
Ouite- understandable, President Tinubu won’t allow selective prosecution of individuals based on political loyalties.. But why is other political figures who have been widely implicated in corruption have not been prosecuted.. At this writings, not a single ex- governor serving prison time for any of these alleged crimes.. Leave Yahaya Bello alone..

Political assailants should promote peace, unity, and progress of our dear natoin.. Corruption and mischievous characters must be stopped . Chief Asaje therefore appealed to the “Western post” to deligently exercise checks and restraints in the use of documents that do not emanate from official channels,so that the members of the public are properly informed,guided and educated on Tinubu’s/government stance, policies and decisions….
