Dr Kashim Akor, Former DG NPC Honoured by PAAU

It was historic with fanfare and celebration as the former Director General, National Productivity Centre, NPC, Dr Kashim Akor NPOM, FNIM was a presented a Meritorious Award of Excellence by Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba.
The occasion which took place on Saturday during the combined convocation ceremony and 25 years anniversary of the institution witnessed dignitaries from all walks of life including Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, Members of the National and State Assemblies as well as Traditional Rulers
While presenting the Meritorious Award to the former Director General, National Productivity Centre, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Marietu Tenuche commended the former Director-General for his humanitarian and philanthropic gestures that had greatly assisted the institution in the area of Security, Health and Educational development.
Dr Akor had donated Computers , Solar street lights , Medical equipments to the university and sponsored indigent ones through scholarships to the institution and others institutions in the state and beyond.
She asked other well meaning Nigerians , organisations and private sector to emulate the good deeds/works of Dr Akor while in office and out office, stating that he contributed greatly to the development of not only the university, but other tertiary and secondary schools in Kogi and the nation at large .
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation and reading of the citation of Dr Kashim Akor NPOM, FNIM to the general public and dignitaries at the occasion.
Dr Kashim Akor NPOM, FNIM who was visibly elated with the honour by the University, promised to attract more development to the institution and others in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
