DR. NURUDEEN BASHIR BECOMES UNITED NATIONS EMINENT PEACE AMBASSADOR.

In recognition of his selfless service to humanity and unwavering Commitments towards peace building and promotion of harmonious coexistence in Nigeria and the world , Dr Nurudeen Bashir Haiba has been inducted as United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador.

Amb. Dr. Nurudeen was inducted alongside other distinguished Nigerians by the Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Centre, Nigeria,at her annual International Summit for Peace Practitioners General Assembly, 2024, Induction/Award ceremony, with the theme, ” Promoting Peace and Social Justice In Nigeria, held at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Tuesday December 17th, 2024, a ceremony that attracted attendees, Dignitaries and Participants from all walks of live.

Speaking to the Media Shortly after he was Conferred with the United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador’s Award ,Amb.Dr. Nurudeen said he was exhilaratingly delighted to be so honoured by an international Organizations of high repute , pointing out that the Award bestowed on him was a mark of honour and recognition which must be reciprocated by doing more for the promotion of peace in Nigeria and the entire world.

While dedicating the award to all Peace loving individuals in our Society, amb.Dr. Nurudeen thanked the Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Centr Nigeria, for identifying him amongst millions and also pledged to be a good ambassador of the centre.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Centre, Nigeria, Amb.Dr. Morgan Okacha , explained that the United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador’s award Conferred on few individuals was in recognition of their immense contributions to building and promotion of peace in their respective Community, and the award was based on nomination.
