Dr SALISU OGBO USMAN: AN UNDYING PATRIOT
During the build up to 2023 governorship election in Kogi State, the Director, Planning and Research for All Progressives Congress, APC Campaign Council, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman worked tirelessly, traversing the 13–Wards and engaging thoroughly the 49 polling units chairmen in Ankpa Township Ward of Ankpa Local Government.
He inexhaustibly solicited their corporation and commitments to moving Ankpa Local Government and Kogi State forward through the mandate of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman whom he said has learned governance and well equipped to succeed His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Sadly and in disguised cheers, he was, slandered, seen as ethnic rebel and above all labelled unjustly for opting for Kogi Developmental Agenda. To the glory of God Almighty, the sweat, sacrifices, and struggle has yielded fruition today.

Here’s a leader whose mindset and reason for fielding Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is to develop the state, his immediate community, prioritize the needs of the women (young and old) and be instrumental to helping the youths get pensionable engagements. Anyways, it’s a victory at LAST!
No doubts, only few individuals from Kogi Eastern Senatorial district will have as many admirers as Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, a resultant effect of human capital developments amidst others.
A champion of progressive values known for his unwavering patriotism, commitment and uncompromised dedication to his beliefs and convictions.
A narcissist to parochial ethnic and religious sentiments whose legacy and stand will span through many generations to come.
Let it be known that in loud voice Dr. Usman stood up for “continuity and consolidation mandate” even in the face of adversities and intimidation. He remained true to his beliefs and never compromised the trust and confidence reposed on him by his benefactor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON
