Duro Meseko is one of my political leaders, says the party will harmonize all interests – Taufiq
The Executive Chairman of Ijumu local government area who is also the ALGON Chairman in Kogi State, Alhaji Isah Taufiq has said Hon Duro Meseko is one of his political leaders, stressing that he served as his Coordinator in his ward when he contested for the Federal House of Representatives in 2003 to represent Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
He disclosed this while addressing newsmen at his country home in Odokoro – Gbede shortly after Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman rounded up his visit to Ijumu yesterday.
He noted that he has nothing against him but would have preferred his emergence to pass through the State Chapter of the party, pointing out that though they are still waiting for further directive but he believes the party will harmonize to deliver a landslide victory to the party come November 11.

He said Governor Yahaya Bello is a man with a large heart who will want everyone to be on board for the overall interest of the party hence Hon Yahaya Adesayo Ismail will be dully compensated with more jucy position, saying there are plenty available positions to be shared hence there is no cause for alarm.
He said the APC governorship candidate has come to Ijumu to see things for himself that the party is truly on ground. He said when people thought they will fail in the last election, the people of Ijumu stood behind the APC to shame their critics by giving Hon Ishaya Tayo Adeleye overwhelming votes and today she is the first female lawmaker from Ijumu.
He called on others who have not decided to take the right step to support the party, urging them not to waste their votes as the APC has already carried the day in Kogi state
