Ododo is a better candidate – Former House Leader, Bajeh
A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Okehi Local Government Area and former Majority leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muktar Bajeh has said Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman remains the best candidate for Kogi state after the expiration of Governor Yahaya Bello’s tenure in 2024.
The former lawmaker disclosed this while chatting with journalists in Lokoja yesterday, stressing that having been part of the administration from the beginning, the APC governorship candidate is the most experienced individual among those contesting the November 11 election.
He said having President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC in Abuja, it would be needless for Kogites to look elsewhere, rather they should cast their votes en-mass for the APC for the state to remain connected to the national government.
He said he is working with other stakeholders in not only on Okehi but across the state to make Alhaji Ododo Usman succeed in the election, urging the electorate to see November 11 as the opportunity to reject any sectional agenda rather to support Kogi agenda that will promote fairness, equity and justice.
He pledged to continue to work for the overall interest of the party and commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant strides in the state, pointing out that his achievements across all sectors in the state will make the party to win the election with ease.
