EDO STATE NULGE PRESIDENT PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR THE INCOMING GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE

…. Says he remains the Authentic and recognized President of Edo State NULGE

The president of the Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Union Of Local Government Employees, (NULGE) Comr. Clifford Daudu has Promised to Work harmoniously with the incoming administration of Monday Okpebholo the Governor elect.

Comr. Clifford remarked that supports for the Incoming administration was necessary, as it would help to enhance and speed up development in the local Government areas of the State and also enable the incoming Government to succeed in it policies and programs for the entire Citizens of the State.

Comr. Clifford Daudu disclosed this to the media at the 2nd Nigerian Union Of Local Government Employees,( NULGE) National week Celebration, featuring Parade and Goodwill Messages, with the theme,”Making Local Government Administration Works for Nigeria People”, held Wednesday November 7th,2024 at the old parade Ground, Area 10 Abuja.a Ceremony that attracted Participants from across the the 36 States of the federation.

Comrade Clifford Daudu further Commended the the National leadership of the Union, Particularly the National President, Comr. Ambali Akeem Olatunji for his dogged determination and unwavering Commitments towards the yearnings aspiration of the Union, pointing out that the Autonomy for local Government that was recently granted Ater the Nation’s apex Court verdict was a case in point he affirmed.

He further expressed his irrevocable Commitment towards ensuring improved well fair and better working Conditions for local Government Staff in Edo State.

The Edo State Chapter President of the Union said the 2nd National NULGE week Celebration was an experience that wouldn’t be easily forgotten, Considering the activities that was witnessed, he specifically mentioned the lectures delivered ,the social interaction and other enriching, entertaining and educative activities that has helped to broaden their understanding.

Commenting on the leadership of the Edo State Chapter of the Union, Comr. Clifford Daudu Confidently reiterated that he remains the recognized President of the Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees,( NULGE) Edo State Chapter

Continuing ,he Stated that he was declared the Winner of the keenly Contested election for the office of the president with three others that took place 6th August, 2024 at Sabo- Gida Ora, Owan west local Government Area of Edo State.

He further added that, he was amazed to see Some one who never participated in the said election to brazenly lay Claims to the Coveted Position of the Chapter’s President.

Corroborating the Statement of Comr. Clifford Daudu, the immediate past President of the Union, Comr.Lazarus Adorolo said Comr. Clifford remained the Authentic and recognized President of the Edo State Chapter of the Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, (NULGE) noting that Comr.Clifford Contested for the office of President and was declared the Winner.

He Called on members of the Union in the State and other states Chapter and the National leadership to discountenance, ignore and reject any member from Edo State parading himself as the Chapter President other than Comr.Clifford Daudu who Contested for the office of President and won..
