Eid-Al-Adha: Hon. Leke Abejide Felicitates With Muslim Ummah, Reinstate His Commitment To Fight Security Threats In His Constituency.
The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Customs &Excise, Hon. Leke Abejide heartily felicitates with Nigerians and the people of Yagba, particularly Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha 2025.
Hon. Leke Abejide in his message, urged the Muslim Ummah to continue to pray for peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria especially in Yagba to overcome the security challenges.
He implored the Muslims to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and commitment to development which is part of the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim, as one of the reasons for the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations.
While extending his admonition, Hon. Abejide reminded Muslims to emulate the examples and embrace the values of selflessness, generosity, and service to humanity.
“In the spirit of the celebration and irrespective of faith, let us dedicate and commit ourselves to support the leaders to building a strong and united country.”
He urged the people of Yagba Federal Constituency to remain calm, as the issue of insecurity is being addressed.
“Your cooperation in the fight against insecurity and threats remains vital in ensuring peace and stability in Yagba, particularly in our commitment to a whole-of-society approach.”
Therefore the continued collaboration between the government, leaders, and security agencies in combating insecurity remains paramount. I appeal to all the people of Yagba to remain vigilant against any force that threatens our peace and we will bring peace to our land and live together in harmony, he said.
Hon. Leke also reinstated his commitment to continue formulating the necessary legislation to support the interests of the people and delivery of good representation.
