Eid-el-Kabir: Dr. Joseph Erico Ameh Distributes 1,500 Bags of Rice, 500 Rams to Kogi East
Dr. Joseph Erico Ameh, winner of the APC Kogi East Senatorial Primary Election, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to constituents and announced a wide distribution of food items and live animals to support families during the celebration.
In his Sallah message to the people of Kogi East Senatorial District, Ameh said over 1,500 bags of rice and more than 500 live rams were distributed across the 9 Local Government Areas of the district. According to him, the rams were given to Muslim faithful, party loyalists, and Igala and Bassa communities “to keep the joy of the season alive.”

“For me, leadership has always been about service and putting the welfare of the people first,” Ameh stated.
The senatorial hopeful also highlighted his track record in job creation. He said his company, The Real Strikers Security Ltd, currently employs over 8,000 Igala sons and daughters securing banks and major institutions across Nigeria. He added that in Ankpa Local Government Area alone, more than 400 Igala and Bassa youths are on the company’s payroll.
“We didn’t wait for government funding – we used our personal resources because we believe in the capacity and dignity of our youth,” he said.
On security, Ameh said he has been collaborating with the administration of Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo to increase security presence in Kogi East. He disclosed that the state government has committed to deploying more soldiers, police officers, and other security agents to the region.
Expressing gratitude for support at the recently concluded APC primary, Ameh assured constituents that their trust would not be misplaced. He said his current interventions were only “a shadow of what is to come” and promised to expand job creation and attract federal opportunities for youth once he assumes office in the Senate.
“May the blessings of this season bring peace, health, and happiness to your homes. Happy Eid-el-Kabir,” he concluded.
