Emevor Royal Father, Confers Chieftaincy Titles on Prof. Ogbidjara, Dr. Ovurhievwe, Ubido, Others

His Royal Majesty Dr. Johnholt Ologho JP, the Odion of Emevor Kingdom,has conferred prestigious chieftaincy titles on notable individuals who have made remarkable contributions in their professions and their communities .
The a grandiose ceremony which was held in the Palace on the 12th of September 2024, was attended by dignitaries from far and near who came in good number to share in the joy of the recipients.
Those honored , having passed the rigorous screening process conducted by the Council of Chiefs, were deemed worthy of recognition for their dedication and integrity.
Among the distinguished recipients was Chief Prof. Benjamin Ogbidjara, who was honored with the title of Osiobe of Emevor Kingdom. Another esteemed individual, Chief Dr. Festus Oghenegweke Ovurhievwe, received the title of Ame of Emevor Kingdom, while Double Chief Comrade Godswill Ubido was conferred the title of Omuye of Emevor Kingdom.
The monarch, HRM Dr. Johnholt Ologho,
in his goodwill message emphasized during the event that the recipients had undergone a thorough vetting process to ensure they upheld the values and traditions of the kingdom.
He proudly noted that the three individuals were not only accomplished in their respective fields but had also demonstrated strong moral character and a commitment to the progress of the Emevor Kingdom.
” Emevor Kingdom has a strong tradition of maintaining integrity within the Council of Chiefs,” HRM Dr. Ologho stated.
“These individuals have proven their mettle in their chosen careers and professions, and I can vouch for their dedication and excellence.”
The monarch went on to express his pride in the new Chiefs , urging them to remain worthy ambassadors of Emevor Kingdom and continue to uphold the community’s cherished values. The newly conferred chiefs were also encouraged to use their influence and resources to contribute to the development of the kingdom.
In his inaugural speech, Chief Prof. Benjamin Ogbidjara, the Osiobe of Emevor Kingdom, expressed deep gratitude to God and to HRM Dr. Johnholt Ologho for the prestigious title bestowed upon him.
“I thank God Almighty who made this day a reality,” Chief Ogbidjara said. “I also most sincerely appreciate my Royal Majesty, Dr. Johnholt Ologho, for bestowing upon me the title of Osiobe of Emevor Kingdom. This is an honor I will cherish for the rest of my life.”
Chief Dr. Festus Oghenegweke Ovurhievwe, the newly appointed Ame of Emevor Kingdom, also expressed his appreciation for the honor. As a dedicated Rotarian, Chief Ovurhievwe emphasized his passion for service to humanity, noting that the chieftaincy title would further inspire him to contribute to the growth and development of Emevor Kingdom.
“Today is a very happy day for me,” Chief Ovurhievwe remarked. “I will use my contacts and resources to influence positive change and development in Emevor Kingdom.”
The Omuye of Emevor Kingdom who was beaming with smile noted that the honor comes with new responsibilities which he is prepared to shoulder for the benefit of the kingdom to the glory of God.
The new Chiefs all in the speeches promised to Play very active role with the Council of Chiefs to give the father of the DR John Holt Ologho the late Royal Majesty of Emevor Kingdom.
The event was attended by prominent figures from within and outside the kingdom, alongside members of the royal family, friends, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the newly honored chiefs. The ceremony underscored Emevor Kingdom’s rich tradition of recognizing individuals who embody leadership, service, and integrity.
As the newly installed chiefs begin their journey with their prestigious titles, they are expected to continue serving as beacons of development and progress, not only for Emevor Kingdom but for the larger society. Their titles come with great responsibility, as they are now regarded as custodians and Ambassadors of the kingdom’s values and traditions.
