ENDORSEMENT OF HON. ABDULKADIR IBRAHIM FOR PDP NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER

To all members and aspiring candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),

As we approach the upcoming National Convention, it is important for the unity and progress of our party that we present a clear and united front.

The position of National Youth Leader has been assigned to Kogi State. I send my warm regards to all aspirants who have declared their intentions. However, we must consider the principles of equity, fairness, and justice in deciding where this opportunity should be focused.

Currently, the State Chairman is from Kogi East, and the immediate past Zonal Youth Leader, Hon. Aruwa Ismail, is also from the same area. From Kogi West, the Okun extraction produces the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan. Historically, the Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency has been excluded from key National Working Committee (NWC) positions since our party was founded in Kogi State.

In the spirit of balance and inclusion, it is only fair that the position of National Youth Leader be focused on Lokoja Local Government Area.

Rewarding loyalty and commitment has always been a strength of the PDP. It is only right that a dedicated party member like Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim, our current State Organising Secretary, takes on this role. His record of service, discipline, and organizational skills speaks for itself.

Hon. Abdulkadir has consistently shown strong commitment, accountability, and leadership within the PDP. Promoting him to National Youth Leader would not only acknowledge his dedication but also strengthen the party’s grassroots work and youth engagement nationwide.

This endorsement is not just support; it is a call for strategic leadership that will unify, energize, and reposition the PDP for future successes.

I urge all party members, delegates, and stakeholders to rally behind Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim as we work together to build a stronger and more vibrant PDP. Together, we can restore our values and commitment to the youth mandate and uphold the ideals of our party.

Please share this endorsement widely through television, newspapers, and social media to ensure clarity and a united front ahead of the convention.

Together, we can strengthen the PDP.

Warm regards,
Hon. M. Sani
From the Confluence City of Lokoja
