Engr. Matthew Ajigi Celebrates Chief James Ibori At Birthday, Hails Support For Our Son, Prince Olatunji Olusoji
A respected engineer and community leader, Engr. Matthew Ajigi, has felicitated with former Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a statesman and bridge-builder whose leadership continues to inspire across Nigeria.
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday in Abuja, Engr. Ajigi praised Chief Ibori for his enduring commitment to unity, political mentorship, and national development.
“Chief Ibori remains one of the most influential leaders in contemporary Nigerian politics. His courage, vision, and dedication to the growth of democracy and nation-building are worthy of celebration,” he said.
Engr. Ajigi particularly commended the former governor for the fatherly support and guidance he has extended to Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji, a distinguished son of Okunland.
“I sincerely appreciate Your Excellency for the great support you have continued to show our son, Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji. Your mentorship and encouragement mean a lot to our family and to many young people looking up to your leadership,” he stated.
He noted that Chief Ibori’s legacy of inclusiveness and commitment to human capacity development has continued to impact lives beyond the borders of Delta State, and has positioned him as a rallying figure for peace and progress in the country.
The engineer prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the former governor, asking for good health, wisdom, and long life in service to the nation.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and associates, I wish you many more years of impactful service, good health, and divine protection. Happy birthday, Your Excellency,” Engr. Ajigi added.
Chief James Onanefe Ibori served as Governor of Delta State from 1999 to 2007 and remains a prominent leader within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and in national politics.
