Establishment Of A State University In Kabba: Owe Legends Commend Mr. Governor
On behalf of the Owe Legends Club (OLC), Kabba, I want to congratulate the good people of Okunland on the establishment of a State University in their domain, and especially the headquarters of the Yoruba people of Kogi State in Kabba.
I also congratulate the Obaro of Kabba for making this happen, and all the good people that participated both at the committee level and that also used their networking capacity to make it a reality.
The mission statement of the foremost club is among other things: “… facilitating educational development to Oweland”, also an objective “… to assist in the educational growth of our youths”, of which millions have been donated in cash, scholarships, and educational materials across the public secondary schools in Oweland in less than 3yrs of its existence.
It’s worthy of note that the University in Kabba will further boost the morale of our youths in achieving excellence, and also reduce the deficit in their intellectual pursuit.
We say kudos to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello ‘White Lion’ for making this come to fruition.
We believe that economic activities will also be on the increase in the community, thereby, advising improved security measures around the campus.
Once again, congratulations to the good people of Okunland.
