EX Kogi Assembly Majority Leader Adakeke appreciates Gov. Ododo for appointment, dedicate appointment to Alh. Yahaya Bello.
A former Majority Leader in the Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Alhassan Salisu Adakeke has lauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing him as Permanent member 1, Kogi state Universal Basic Education board (UBEC) to serve in his cabinet.
In a statement signed by the former Kogi Assembly Majority Leader on Tuesday, he described the appointment as a confirmation of the love and trust reposed on the people of Bassa Local Government and to strengthen the bond of unity cultivated and exhibited at the November 11 , Governorship election in Kogi State.
The statement reads in part” As a people we are prepared to give all to earn a stronger confidence and assurances of his Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman ODODO as a lead way, to the development of our local government.

“We want to also appreciate our leader and father, the former Governor, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello whose humane leadership style prepared the table for the harvest of votes from the Local Government Area. We can not forget so quickly, the monumental steps he took to return peace to the local government area. We appreciate this a lot more.
” We are confident, that his dependable successor, Gov . Ahmed Usman ODODO will seal up this bond of love and fraternity for a more peaceful and prosperous BASSA LGA.
