Excitement as Hon. Danga’s bill for establishment of Federal Medical Centre, Ihima in Adavi/Okehi Local Government scales through second reading
The bill seeking for an establishment of a Federal medical center Ihima in Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency sponsored by the member representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga, on Wednesday, scaled through second reading.
While presenting the bill on the floor of the green chamber of the 10th Assembly, Hon. Danga emphasized that the bill, when granted will help bring medical care to the people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency.
The bill which was titled “A Bill for an Act to Amend the Federal Medical Centres Act to establish Federal Medical Centre, Okehi, Kogi State, to provide Primary to Tertiary Healthcare services in all ramifications and for all related matters (HB. 776)” is aimed at bringing medical care closer to the good people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency of Kogi State.
The bill was sponsored in-line with the commitment of Hon. Danga to continuously advocate for ease of life for his constituents.
The lawmaker, while addressing a section of the media, stressed that the importance of access to quality health care by Nigerians can never be overemphasized.
