FCT; I Prioritized Building Roads To Make the Nation’s City Accessible, Wike

The Minister of FCT, Nzenwo Nyesom Wike said he decided to give more attention to the FCT roads because of the bad shape of roads in the nation’s city, portraying the image of the country in bad light.

Wike bare his mind on Monday during an interview with Arise News on “Politics Today” held from 7pm to 8pm in Abuja .

He said the residents of the FCT and the satellite towns are happy that good and motorable roads are been built in the last two years that had open up all nooks and crannies of the FCT which included renewable energy, of Solar lights .

“We are working in the Health , Education, Housing Social and Economic areas to ensure the residents of Abuja have what it takes in the current Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The Minister recently procured 12 ambulances for the FCT hospitals along with ongoing renovation of hospitals in the FCT and area councils.

The Education department has resolved it’s strike through the administrative acumen of the Minister of FCT and schools are witnessing massive renovations, reconstruction and rehabilitation of schools and building of new ones in the FCT.

We are providing water in Bwari , Karsahi, Karu , Kwali , Gwagwalada and will spread to other parts of the FCT.” Wike maintained.

According to the Minister , “if you don’t build roads , they will say you have abandoned roads and they are not motorable, now that we have made alot of in roads to building roads across FCT , it is again another issue, that’s Nigerians from you .”

For us , according to the Minister of FCT, “we are doing everything humanly possible to make sure all areas needing attention from government are given attention to make people’s lives better.”

Already, the Minister has began in earnest the third year inauguration and flag off of roads and other projects for over 15 days to be commission in the three years anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda’s administration.

Wike promised to continue to sustain the tempo of development of the FCT and it’s area councils.
