Federal Unity Schools to Resume on the 12 January – Ministry of Education

The 112 Federal Unity Schools in the country will resume academic activities for the second term in the 2024/2025 academic session on the 12th January, 2025.

The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Education, has shifted resumption date of unity schools across the country to January 12.

The schools were originally billed to resume for academic activities January 6 for the 2nd term, with students in boarding scheduled to resume January 5.

A circular released on Monday December 30 by the Federal Ministry of Education, explained that the shift in dates, was ” due to the ongoing renovation works in most of the FUCs ( Federal Unity Colleges).”

By the notice , academic activities for the 2nd term , will now resume Monday January 13 .

The circular, which was addressed to all Principals of Federal Unity Colleges, was signed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Dr. Nasir Sani – Gwazzo.
