FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LOKOJA PROMOTES DR. SALISU OGBO USMAN TO PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, has announced the promotion of Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman to the prestigious rank of Professor of Political Science.

He made the pronouncement during the opening ceremony of the joint National Conference of the School of General and Communication Studies and School of Environmental Technology, Kogi State Polytechnic, held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Hall A, Main Campus, Lokoja

Professor Akinwumi extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Usman, who had previously served at Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, before joining the faculty of Social Science, Department of Political Science, Federal University Lokoja, on the occasion of his successful paper assessment, which yielded a positive outcome on April 30, 2024.

Dr. Usman’s promotion was in recognition of his outstanding academic record, his innovative approach to research, and his commitment to fostering academic excellence.
