FINAL BURIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR LATE DR. SEGUN NEZER KEYI ANNOUNCED
The Burial Committee of the late Dr. Segun Nezer Keyi has formally announced the dates for the final burial ceremonies of the departed elder statesman following the general meeting of the DANGANA and ELEGBE families of Ogoriland held last weekend in Ogori, Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Dr. Segun Nezer Keyi was the Founder and Chief Medical Director of Lafiak Hospital, Abuja, and the senior brother of Dr. Mathew Keyi, former Chairman of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Council.

According to the Chairman of the Burial Committee, Engr. Dada Omolaiye, and the Co-Chairman, Mr. Gani Oloyede, the Wake-Keep Service will hold on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the deceased’s First Foundation Residence, Ayeromi Quarters, Ogori.
They further disclosed that the Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ogori, while interment will follow immediately after the church service at the Community Cemetery, Ogori.
The committee assured family members, friends, associates, and the general public that further updates concerning the burial programmes will continue to be communicated as preparations progress.
The Burial Committee also expressed profound appreciation to all brothers, sisters, friends, and well-wishers for their prayers, support, encouragement, and solidarity during this difficult period of mourning.
