Forum of Non-Indigenes in Edo State congratulates Governor Monday Okpebholo on his Victory at the Election Tribunal

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has been congratulated by the Forum of Non-Indigenes in Edo State on his victory at the election tribunal yesterday affirming him as the dully elected Governor of Edo State.

This comes after the Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal struck out the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties seeking to nullify Okpebholo’s mandate freely given to him by the people of Edo State at Governorship poll.

In a message signed by Hon. Austin Madaiyedu on behalf of the group and made available to newsmen in Benin, said the election tribunal’s decision has been seen as a significant milestone in Okpebholo’s journey as Governor and the Forum of Non-Indigenes in Edo State has joined other well-wishers in celebrating his victory which will give him the opportunity to consolidate on his achievements.

He noted that the decision of the tribunal will further enable the governor to implement his blueprint that is well crafted to provide good governance for the people of the state.

The group also used the medium to commend the APC chairman in Edo State Emperor Jarret Tenebe for his steadfastness throughout the election Tribunal process.

The group also acknowledged his leadership been instrumental in guiding the party through this challenging period, pointing out that Tenebe has shown exceptional commitment to the party’s values and objectives.

Tenebe’s pragmatic approach and strategic foresight have been key factors in the party’s success, saying that he has worked tirelessly to build strong bridges among party leaders at all levels, ensuring that the APC remains a cohesive organization.

It’s worth noting that Tenebe has been vocal about issues affecting the party and the state, such as calling for the arrest and prosecution of PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo for allegedly forging his voter’s card.

He has also alerted security agencies about potential disruptions by PDP supporters.

Overall, Emperor Jarret Tenebe’s leadership and commitment to the APC have been truly exemplary, and his steadfastness throughout the tribunal process is a testament to his dedication to the party and its ideals.
