Ganduje Attends Commissioning of Upgraded Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo Domestic Terminal in Kano

KANO — The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, on Wednesday attended the commissioning of the newly remodeled and upgraded Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo Domestic Terminal at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
The modernized terminal was officially commissioned by the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, at a ceremony attended by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, members of the FAAN Governing Board, government officials, aviation stakeholders, and other distinguished guests.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Ganduje described the remodeling and upgrade of the terminal as a major milestone in the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to modernize Nigeria’s aviation infrastructure and improve service delivery across the nation’s airports.
He noted that the project would significantly enhance passenger comfort, operational efficiency, and safety while reinforcing Kano’s strategic role as a major aviation gateway and commercial hub in Northern Nigeria.
Dr. Ganduje commended the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, and the management of FAAN for their unwavering commitment to transforming the nation’s airport facilities to meet international standards.
According to him, the upgraded terminal reflects the government’s determination to provide world-class infrastructure that will stimulate economic growth, promote tourism, facilitate trade, and create greater opportunities for investment in the aviation sector.
The commissioning of the Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo Domestic Terminal marks another significant achievement in the ongoing modernization of Nigeria’s aviation industry, underscoring the Federal Government’s resolve to deliver efficient, safe, and passenger-friendly airport facilities across the country.
