Gov Ododo pays condolence visit to Col Bello Fadile over brother’s death, describe him as a worthy elderstateman whose sacrifices remains indelible
The Governor of Kogi State Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo has described retired Col Bello Fadile as an elderstateman whose sacrifices for Nigeria remain indelible and would be cherished forever.
The Governor made the remarks during a codolence visit to the elderstateman over the death of his younger brother and former Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA, Barr Kabiru Fadile who passed on over a month ago. Governor Ododo describe the deceased as a passionate lover of his people, advocate of rule of law and champion of democracy. He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed compatriot.
While thanking Col Fadile for his service to Nigeria, he described him as a reservoir of experience, expertise and good governance who will remain an asset of invaluable proportion to Kogi State. He thanked the retired Col for his drive for community development, Youth emancipation and agricultural renaissance.
While responding, Col Bello Fadile thanked the Governor for the visit, humility and good governance that he has demonstrated since assuming office. He thanked the Governor for identifying with the family at this time of grief noting that the visit further consoled the family at a time like this.
The Governor was joined on the visit by the Member representing Ajaoluta Federal Constituency, Hon Sanni Egidi, Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones and Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi
