Gov Ododo Pays Last Respects to Late Kogi East Zonal Chairman of APC, Hon. Mikhail Mohammed

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, today paid his respects at the funeral of the late Kogi East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed, in his hometown, Odu-Ogboyaga.

The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, led a delegation of government officials to accompany the remains of the deceased from Lokoja to Dekina Local Government Area.

Among the dignitaries present were the Auditor General of the State, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Hilary Ojoma Egwudah, along with Commissioners and appointees of the Governor from Kogi East. The Director General of Kogi State Community Watch and Ancillary Matters, Hon. Muhammed Nasiru Alfa, was also in attendance, Council Chairmen, Divisional Party Chairmen, and party stalwarts where present.

The funeral which was conducted according to Islamic rites was marked by cry, heartfelt tributes from party faithful, community leaders, and business associates, as they bid farewell to Hon. Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed.

The Late Hon Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed passed on in the early hours of Friday at his residence in Lokoja at the age of forty-six. Until his demise he was the Kogi East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is survived by his wife and six children.
