GOV. ODODO URGES SSA’s TO ENHANCE INNOVATION IN PROMOTING ADMINISTRATION’S ACTIVITIES AT THE GRASSROOTS

The Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has urged his Senior Special Assistants to demonstrate ingenuity in showcasing the initiatives of the current administration at the grassroots.

Governor Ododo made the call in a message conveyed during a meeting with the executive members of the State forum of Senior Special Assistants at his office in Lokoja.

Represented by Deputy Comrade Joel Salifu, the Governor emphasized the importance of making the offices of Senior Special Assistants both lucrative and productive.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo noted that the effectiveness of any office lies in the innovative capacity of the appointee, urging them to actively engage the grassroots population in all endeavors.

He encouraged the appointees to unite as a strong team dedicated to realizing the vision of development for the grassroots community, a cornerstone of the present Administration.

Expressing gratitude for the visit, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo acknowledged the honor bestowed upon him as the patron, along with the former Governor Yahaya Bello as the grandpatron, by the Association.

He described his victory at the Supreme Court in Abuja as a victory for all, and pledged to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

Earlier, the Chairman of the forum, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Governor, Hon. Yahaya Shehu Ahmed, informed the Deputy Governor and the Governor about the upcoming victory celebration of the forum. He also conferred the title of distinguished Patron upon Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and grand patron upon the Former Governor Yahaya Bello.

During their respective addresses, the Secretary of the forum, Shaibu Ipinmise, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Ethics and Values, Hon. Shaikh Sani Musa, appealed to the state government for increased support and resources to effectively carry out their official duties.
