Gov. Sule Launches “Nasarawa Luxury Ride” Buses To Ease Transport Fare For Citizens

In a bid to reduce the high cost of transportation fare being experience by citizenry in the State Abdullahi Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State on Monday launhed “Nasarawa Luxury Ride” buses to address the cost of transportation fare in the State
The governor made the disclosure in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on public Affairs Hon. Peter Ahemba, and made available to journalists in Lafia the state capital.
Ahemba, said the introduction of the new buses is no doubt, a conscious effort and a milestone by the Sule’s administration towards alleviating the current economic hardship, including high cost of road transportation to improve the living condition of residents of the State.
He said to enhance efficiency and proper management of the new buses, the State Government has engaged the services of Mash, a renown transportation company to achieve set target.
Peter also explained that the new buses were designed to meet the transportation needs of residents of Nasarawa State.
According to him,” The buses boast advanced technology, ergonomic interiors, and superior fuel efficiency, making them an ideal choice for both short and long-distance journeys.
“The vehicles are also equipped with facilities to cater for the needs of elderly passengers, people with disabilities and families traveling with little children, thus ensuring inclusivity across all segments of the society and overall comfort.
“The initiative is part of Government’s commitment to enhancing the transportation infrastructure and services in the State, with a view to improve the daily lives of residents and promote sustainable mobility options.
The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on public affairs emphasized that this development marks the beginning of a new era of improved connectivity and accessibility within the state.
The new buses was formally launched by State Governor at a ceremony held at the Yahaya Sabo Bus Terminal, Lafia.
In view of the foregoing, the governor call on citizens to embrace this transformation and support the new public transportation system for the good of all and sundry.
