Governor Ododo Felicitates with Ileya Omo Okun Generational Foundation on Hosting 7th Edition of Ileya Omo Okun Festival 2025
The 7th edition of the Ileya Omo Okun festival kicked off on December 13th with the Zeetia Cares Santa Claus (Father Christmas) event at Kabba, Kogi State. His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, in a phone call to the initiator and Yeye Oge ti Ile Okun, Yeye Omoleye Aiyelabowo, congratulated her and the team for organizing this culturally significant event in Okunland.
The Governor noted that the event has brought joy to the people of Okunland at this time of the year.
Governor Ododo also emphasized the importance of security consciousness and safety in all communities in Okunland.

In response, Yeye Oge ti Ile Okun expressed appreciation to the Governor for taking the time to call and congratulate the team.
She stated that it was a morale booster and a demonstration of the Governor’s love for the people of Okunland. She commended the Governor for prioritizing security in Kogi State.
The grand finale of the Ileya Omo Okun festival 2025 is scheduled to hold on December 28th at Olonijola Event Centre, Kabba, Kogi State, by 12 noon.
