Grassroots Impact in Action: Dr. Olumoko Empowers Ogidi-Omo Movement with Generous Support in Ekinrin Adde

-Ekinrin Adde, Kogi State

— It was a moment of unity, generosity, and renewed commitment to grassroots development as Dr. Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko, founder and CEO of the Ogidi-Omo Movement, convened a strategic meeting with members of the movement in Ekinrin Adde Ward yesterday.

The meeting, which drew key stakeholders and loyal members of the movement, underscored the organization’s enduring mission of fostering community advancement and collective progress across Kogi State.
In a remarkable show of support and leadership, Dr. Olumoko distributed 25 bags of 50kg rice alongside a cash donation of ₦1 million to support members and ongoing grassroots efforts. Demonstrating inclusivity and appreciation for leadership structures within the ward, he also presented three bags of rice to ward executives, one bag each to traditional rulers and chiefs, and extended the gesture to spiritual leaders by donating one bag each to the six pastoral teams present—bringing the total distribution to 60 bags of rice.

He emphasized that the movement remains committed to empowering communities through practical interventions and sustained engagement. Over the years, the Ogidi-Omo Movement has earned recognition for its impactful initiatives, including voter mobilization, political advocacy, educational support, healthcare outreach, and economic empowerment programs that have positively transformed lives across Kogi State.
Community members at the meeting expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Olumoko’s continued generosity and leadership, describing his contributions as timely and impactful amid current economic realities.

The gathering concluded on a high note, with renewed pledges of unity and commitment to the ideals of the Ogidi-Omo Movement, as participants looked forward to expanding its reach and deepening its impact in communities across the state.
