GUBER POLL: JUMABEE, MBIG AND OLORUNNIPA CARES FOUNDATION GIVES ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE PEOPLE
The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Entertainment, Hon. Juwon Olorunnipa aka Jumabe in collaboration with MBIG AND OLORUNNIPA CARES FOUNDATION has given support which is tagged Encouragement to all the communities in Bunu axis of Kabba-Bunu local government area ahead of the November 11 Governorship election in the State.
The event was held at his father’s compound in Edumo – Bunu community and was well attended by party stakeholders and community leaders.
According to him, he tagged the program as encouragement as it is only God that can truly empower human beings, noting that whatever he is giving is to encourage them to continue to believe in the party.
He said the MBIG AND OLORUNNIPA CARES FOUNDATION is out to add value to the people, stressing that they are keeping the legacy of their father, the late Philip Olorunnipa who always gave to his people, hence encouragement is coming at this time.
He said the program will come in two phases, and promised to have another session next week to continue to assist the people to ameliorate their suffering, especially people living in those communities without electricity, portable water, good roads etc.
He noted that the governorship candidate of the APC, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman will consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello, stressing that the state will witness more infrastructure developments in education, health care, roads etc
The former Speaker, Matthew Kolawole commended his initiative of giving back to the people and pointed out that God does bless anyone who gives.
The Council Leader, Kabba-Bunu Legislative Council, Mosiko Towonifini said the womenfolk in not only Kiri land but the entire local government are ready to vote for the APC in the coming election.
She acknowledged the kind gesture of Jumabee who is always hosting programs to support the people from time to time.
The former SSA Security in charge of Kabba-Bunu local government, Hon Ariyo Adebayo eulogized the tenacity at which Jumabe used to impact the people in the area, saying he is a replica of his late father.
He said it is not good for anyone to be in opposition to the government, and pointed out that not even a place like Kiri land seriously in need of the attention of the government, stressing that the area needs roads, potable water, electricity, hospitals and it is only the government that can do much for them.
He said the area is not looking back as they are all prepared to vote en-masse for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and the governing All Progressives Congress come November 11.
