HEARTY FELICITATIONS FROM KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC TO THE DEPUTY SPEAKER, KOGI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY RT. HON. COMFORT NWUCHIOLA EGWABA, ON HER CORONATION AS IGANYA ATA IGALA
The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Nwuchiola Egwaba, on her coronation as “Iganya” to the revered Igala Traditional Stool by His Royal Majesty, Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Oguche, the Ata-Igala.
Professor Usman described the coronation as a rare and prestigious honour not only as a recognition of the Rt. Hon. Deputy Speaker’s commitment to public service and leadership but also a reflection of her deep-rooted integrity, cultural relevance and dedication to the peace, unity and progress of the Igala Kingdom.
The Rector stressed that the investiture of “Iganya Ata Igala” is symbolic of her growing stature and influence not only in the political sphere but also within the traditional and cultural heritage of the people.
The Rector is confident that the Rt. Hon. Deputy Speaker will continue to use her position to champion inclusivity and socio-cultural harmony, whilst upholding the sanctity of the throne and the values it represents.
Professor Usman is proud of her achievements and celebrate this remarkable milestone with her. It is his hope that this coronation marks the beginning of even greater exploits in her service to humanity.
